Most of the room writes in Roman Urdu ("kya haal hai sab ka?"), some in Urdu script, lots of Punjabi, and plenty of English. Nobody corrects your spelling — just talk the way you talk with friends.

Is HiHelloBye free?
Yes — chatting, voice notes, games, radio and calls are all free. There is nothing to download and no subscription.
Do I need to register?
No. Choose Guest on the login box, type a nickname and you are in. Register (free) only if you want to keep your nickname, earn points and unlock private calls.
Can I chat in Urdu?
Yes. You can type in Urdu script, Roman Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto or English — whatever you are comfortable with.
Is there a Pakistani voice chat?
Yes. You can send voice notes in the room, join group voice, and make one-to-one voice or video calls once your account has enough points. See desi voice chat.
Why can't I call someone straight away?
Private messages, voice and video calls unlock after you have been active for a while. You earn points by chatting (+5 for a real message) and by staying in the room (+1 per minute). This keeps spammers and bots away from people's inboxes.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. It runs in any modern phone browser (Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet). You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. On slow data, switch on Light Chat.
How do you keep the rooms safe?
Every room has moderators, an abuse filter that censors bad language, automatic mute for spam, a report button on every message, and a personal ignore list. Harassment, hate speech and sexual content aimed at other users are not allowed.
