You don't have to share your real name, city or photo. At the same time, the room has moderators, an abuse filter, automatic mute for spam and a report button on every message — so being a guest doesn't mean anything goes.

Is it really free?
Yes. There is no paid plan, no credits and no subscription.
Do I need an email or phone number?
No. Guests only need a nickname. Registering is optional and email is optional even then.
Can someone take my guest nickname?
Only after you leave. Register it (free) to keep it permanently.
Why can't I call someone straight away?
Private messages, voice and video calls unlock after you have been active for a while. You earn points by chatting (+5 for a real message) and by staying in the room (+1 per minute). This keeps spammers and bots away from people's inboxes.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. It runs in any modern phone browser (Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet). You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. On slow data, switch on Light Chat.
How do you keep the rooms safe?
Every room has moderators, an abuse filter that censors bad language, automatic mute for spam, a report button on every message, and a personal ignore list. Harassment, hate speech and sexual content aimed at other users are not allowed.
