Like the baithak in a desi home: the room where everyone sits together, chai is always on, and there is always someone to talk to. This is where most people start.
What happens in the Baithak
Morning salams, lunch-break jokes, cricket commentary, evening shayari and the 2 a.m. philosophers — the Baithak is our busiest room and the default room when you join from the homepage. Conversations are in Roman Urdu, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and English.
- Room games — Quiz and Hangman pop up in the chat; challenge someone to Ludo or Tic-Tac-Toe.
- Radio — the room radio plays in the background; RJs and DJs host live shows.
- Stories — see what regulars are sharing today on the Story Wall.
- Voice notes and calls — send a voice note to the room or call someone once you have enough points.
- Chat bot — the room has a friendly AI bot you can @mention for a quick answer or a joke.
Room manners
Keep it friendly: no abuse, no harassment, no religious or sectarian fights and no sharing of personal details. Moderators are around and the room mutes repeat spam automatically.

Do I need to register?
No. Choose Guest on the login box, type a nickname and you are in. Register (free) only if you want to keep your nickname, earn points and unlock private calls.
How do I switch to another room?
Use the 🔀 button in the chat to move between Baithak, Music, Sports and StudentCorner.
Why can't I call someone straight away?
Private messages, voice and video calls unlock after you have been active for a while. You earn points by chatting (+5 for a real message) and by staying in the room (+1 per minute). This keeps spammers and bots away from people's inboxes.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. It runs in any modern phone browser (Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet). You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. On slow data, switch on Light Chat.
